About
Dr. Alford
Dr. Alford specializes in orthodontics and dentofacial
orthopedics for children and adults. He is a graduate
of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. During
his orthodontic residency, Dr. Alford received the Farnsworth
Award for dedication to patient care. He practiced family
dentistry from 1982 to 1991 and has been in the specialty
of orthodontics since 1993.
Dr. Alford graduated from Butler University in 1978. While
at Butler, he received the following academic awards:
Higbee Pin, Chemistry Award, and graduated cum laude.
He attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry
and graduated in 1982. Dr. Alford was elected to Omicron
Kappa Upsilon academic honorary society and received the
Oral Pathology Award upon graduation.
Dr. Alford is a part-time clinical instructor in the graduate
orthodontic residency program at Indiana University School
of Dentistry. He is a member of the following professional
organizations: the American Dental Association, the Indiana
Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists,
the Indiana Association of Orthodontists, and the Hoosier
Orthodontic Forum Study Club.
Dr. Alford resides in Anderson with wife Debbie and their
three children. He participates in missionary activities
as a board member of Mission Haiti Midwest and is currently
on the mission board of South Meridian Church of God in
Anderson. He also enjoys reading and all sports. |
